About Us

DyCan Cosmetics started with one mission in mind; bridging the gap between access and function in beauty and wellness. 

Through lived experience, our founder Dymond saw a need for beauty products that had ingredients that worked for a variety of skin types, tones, and textures, as well as sensory friendly and packaged for ease-of-use. 

Dymond’s story: 

Welcome to my shop! My name is Dymond, or Dee, and my pronouns are They/Them and She/Her.

I exist within the margins of Blackness, Fatness, Parenthood, and Queerness, which have had impactful influence over how I navigate the world at large and within my own spaces. As I have grown and discovered more of who I am and who I want to be, I’ve pledged to make room for others like myself, that have not seen representation en masse.

I am of the belief that you should not have to sacrifice health and wellness for expressions of self and beauty. My goal is to give you the space, opportunity and knowledge to do just that.
